Society of the Silver Cross

Society of the Silver Cross are from Seattle, Washington. Their music is dark, slow, and cinematic, gothic and bombastic in equal measure. Rooted equally in the traditions of India and the darker edges of American folk. Their chant-like vocals move between melody and ritual, alongside 12-string acoustic guitar, harmonium, B3 organ, Shahi Baaja, rare synthesizers, and tom-centric drum patterns that anchor the whole thing in something primal.

Rolling Stone, SPIN, UNCUT, Metal Injection, and Brooklyn Vegan have all written about them. Bizarro.fm called them “one of the most exceptional bands in the Gothic movement worldwide.” The 405 called their debut “one of the year’s most unique and compelling debuts.”

Their melodies, as one critic put it, are an ode to hypnosis.
They are co-headlining a EU 5 week tour in fall of 2026.
