The Stargazer Lilies

Drifting somewhere between a glitter-drenched dream and a swirling, psychedelic haze, The Stargazer Lilies create immersive soundscapes that feel both otherworldly and emotionally raw. The duo channels vintage shoegaze textures through a lens of modern ambient, doomgaze, and psych-pop. With swirling guitars, hypnotic rhythms, and reverb-soaked vocals, they build sonic worlds that bloom like flowers in slow motion, while never losing sight of what it takes to use their sonic palette to create a great and memorable song.

TSL are Kim Field and John Cep, romantic partners and founding members of the electronic- influenced group, Soundpool, known for their blend of shoegaze, dream pop, psychedelia and most notably their unique blend of shoegaze and disco. Soundpool’s 2010 release “Mirrors in Your Eyes” has the unique distinction of being one of the few shoegaze records that has it’s own wikipedia page due to it’s genre bending influence. Both bands are celebrated for their lush, atmospheric sonic landscapes and have contributed significantly to the shoegaze and dream pop genres. The Stargazer Lilies continue to captivate listeners with their evolving sound. Their new album ‘Love Pedals’ coming out in Summer ’25 as a joint release on Little Cloud Records and Floravinyl Records, offers a rich, captivating, panoramic experience. The new album pushes the envelope with other worldly guitar sounds, verb drenched vocals and songs that are destined to become become instant classics.

The Stargazer Lilies first national tour was on the Graveface Roadshow in 2013. Since then TSL has toured Northern Europe, South America, Canada and the United States extensively sharing the stage with such notable artists as Whirr, Nothing, Ringo Deathstarr, LSD and the Search for God, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Best Coast, Tobacco, The Veldt, Acid Mothers Temple.
